As part of the season festivities, Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2009 is hosting an acrobatic show at Al Bustan Centre by Natalie Reckert, a professional German acrobat who performs breathtaking stunts and tricks with ease and expertise.

The performance runs for almost twenty minutes that begins with simple circus tricks. Once the audience is settled, Reckert begins the first part that is composed of the hand-balancing act. With the use of table and two stands, Reckert displays an amazing set of body movements paralleled to outstanding circus moves. In the second part of the show, Reckert uses a long silk cloth for climbing and acrobatic exhibition. The acts of the show may appear theatrical yet dangerously thrilling to the crowd but Reckert assures that the stage is safe and secure.

The show is choreographed by Reckert who allotted months of preparation for this particular show in Dubai, ensuring that the costume, music, and the pacing of the show would attract and entertain crowds. Reckert, who has been performing as a gymnast and a dancer since she was five, studied Circus Arts in London. She also puts her self through a rigorous three-hour exercise regime to keep fit for her show.

Post offices will act as selling agents for the low cost airline, offering booking facilities and accepting payment for reservations made online."Our aim is to change the way people travel by making the process simple, convenient and hassle-free," said the airline’s CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith. "People have different preferences and while some prefer to book via the internet or call centre, other prefer to do so in person. Keeping this in mind, we decided to partner with Emirates Post, allowing us access to their widespread network across the Emirate and therefore bringing us closer to the community." Some 101 outlets make up the Emirates Post Office network. Flydubai will begin commercial flights on June 1 when it takes off for Beirut from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport.
