ENOC Offers Shoppers A Chance To Win 42 Cars And AED 320,000

ENOC and EPPCO are rolling out an array of promotions to celebrate the 16th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival, the annual shopping and entertainment extravaganza, held from January 20 until February 20, 2011.
The highlight of ENOC/EPPCO’s “32-Day Giveaway” promotion is the popular Nissan car-a-day raffle. Customers who spend AED 20 on non-fuel products and services receive a Nissan raffle coupon to win a car daily, as well as another raffle ticket to win a total of AED 320,000 in cash. Shoppers Win Thousands On Debut Weekend Of Oasis Centres Money Mania During DSF 2011

Oasis Centre, Dubai’s friendliest mall, which launched its line-up of activities for Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2011 on 21 January, has rewarded participants of its ‘Money Mania’ game with over AED25,000 in gift vouchers on its debut weekend.
Customers participating in the ‘Oasis Money Mania’ enter a crystal cube in the mall atrium. Inside the enclosure, they compete to grab currency and stand to win gift vouchers equivalent to the total value of currency collected. Vouchers inside the crystal add up to a maximum value of AED300,000 through the duration of the promotion.
Oasis Centre has roped in six of the UAE’s most popular radio stations that appeal to Asian, Arab and Western listeners. Through their broadcasts, listeners are invited to participate in the Oasis Money Mania by sending an SMS to the stations.
Shortlisted listeners are then invited to a radio-roadshow at the mall on Fridays and Saturdays from 2.00pm – 10.00pm. Shoppers who are present at the mall are also selected on the spot to be part of the contest.

The Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destination in Downtown Dubai, is celebrating Eid Al Adha with an array of colourful performances and a host of prizes for shoppers through the ‘Eidiyat in Dubai 2010’ and ‘Your Choice of Luxury’ promotions. Shoppers are eagerly waiting for the 13th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises to begin with discounts across more than 6000 retail outlets. Apart from promotions, shoppers also stand the chance to win spectacular prizes with their purchases.
"I come every year to Dubai during DSS just to shop. I make it a point to check all the malls as sometimes the same outlet has more collections in the other malls. This year, I’m planning to visit Mall of the Emirates, Mirdif City Centre, Deira City Centre, Dubai Mall and Dubai Festival City. I have already visited a few of them, especially Mirdif City Centre as it is new and I liked the new brands that are available there. I could not stop myself and have already done loads of shopping, especially at Dubai Festival City," said Bhavna Singh, an Indian shopper from Delhi.
Rabia Batool from Pakistan said, "Shopping in Dubai is fun at any time of the year. I like shopping mostly at Splash and Max. These are my favorite outlets buy clothes. Shopping back in Pakistan is not so exciting especially for Western wear. Additionally, shopping here is far cheaper."
"As my children are young, DSS is the right time to come as there as so many activities for children in the malls. They enjoy the colors, music and festivities that go on everywhere. It looks like we are having a celebration and it truly adds a new dimension to our vacation," she added.
Mayson, a Burmese national who works at the Trade Centre said, "I usually shop at Deira City Centre and Dubai Mall. Shopping here is actually less expensive than many other countries. During DSS, the added discounts are a huge bonus and it tempts me to shop."
"The malls fill up with festivity making your shopping all the more exciting while the entertainment ensures that you have an amazing time," she added.
Sanah Hassan from Egypt said, "For me Deira City Centre is the best mall. One can find everything here, literally from a pin to an elephant. During DSS, I try to shop as much as I can as there are huge discounts going on. One can buy at one fifth the original price."
Safa Abdullah, a Sudanese mother of four and a Dubai resident said, "It’s a big mistake to buy anything before DSS. When you see the prices are slashed down you feel bad. Now I make it a point to never to shop before DSS."
Rajah an American resident comes every year to visit her sister during the DSS. "I always look forward to the summers so that I can come to Dubai and meet my sister. It is fun shopping with her. There is a huge difference in prices between Dubai and the US for the same brands – in Dubai it is a lot cheaper. I shop enough to make sure it lasts me an entire year," she said.
Shoppers Throng Malls On Day One Of Dubai Summer Surprises

Malls across Dubai witnessed significant footfall as Dubai Summer Surprises began its 13th edition on Thursday, June 17, 2010. A spectacular promotion across 21 malls saw shoppers walk away with prizes including free vouchers to the main entertainment destinations of Dubai such as Modhesh World, Aquaplay, Ski Dubai, Magic Planet, Cite’ des Enfants, Soccer Circus Dubai, iFLY, At The Top, Burj Khalifa Observatory, Cinestar Cinemas, Aquaventure & The Lost Chambers, Dubai Dolphinarium, and Wild Wadi Water Park.
Neeraja Dugar, a resident of Delhi, India, and on a trip to Dubai, was the first winner of the exclusive DSS opening promotion.
