Tasjeel, a joint venture of ENOC and Road Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai, today introduced its latest service for inspecting cranes and other construction vehicles.
The new service will be provided in partnership with TUV SUD Middle East LLC, a subsidiary of TUV SUD, Germany, which will inspect and certify construction vehicles for safety at Tasjeel’s Warsan site. Both companies are ISO certified and will utilize state-of-the-art technologies to facilitate the service in just one hour per vehicle.
“With the new service, Tasjeel aims to carry out the inspection of around 10,000 cranes, and construction vehicles in Dubai alone. It will be the first time that construction vehicles are inspected for safety in such world-class professional standards in the city. We are pleased to partner with TUV SUD Middle East LLC, which is certified by the Government and known for its reliable services, for offering the new inspection service,” said Burhan Al Hashemi, Managing Director Retail Services, ENOC.
Tasjeel offers a wide range of facilities, all under one roof, for customers to complete the vehicle testing and registration process swiftly. The various amenities include an ENOC/EPPCO service station, convenience store, insurance booth, document typing booth and number plate factory besides others. The Tasjeel sites are in Al Qusais, Al Barsha, Al Aweer, Warsan, Jebel Ali Free Zone and Hatta under Dubai and Tasjeel Auto Village and Khorfakkan site under Sharjah.
In light of the success of the first cycle, Tasjeel, an ENOC and Roads Transport Authority (RTA) joint venture for speedy and hassle-free vehicle testing and registration services, has launched its annual ’Dirham wa’Bas,’ a charitable initiative aimed at raising funds for people in need this Ramadan.
Under ‘Dirham wa’Bas,’ Tasjeel will donate one dirham from every car registration fee towards the local charity organisation Beit Al Khair Society, which provides financial support to orphans and underprivileged people in the UAE. The initiative follows the success of last year’s campaign which raised AED 100,000.
Ayas Bin Hendi, General Manager of ENOC Tasjeel, said that the ‘Dirham wa’Bas,’ initiative complements the various efforts undertaken by the ENOC Group in Ramadan to support and assist the underprivileged in the UAE. “ENOC Tasjeel is committed to supporting disadvantaged people by working closely with local and international charity organisations.”
“Last year’s campaign brought hope to many orphans and people in need. This year we aim to raise further funds to support more individuals and make a bigger difference,” he added.
In a bid to offer motorists more convenience and flexibility during the Holy Month of Ramadan, Tasjeel has adjusted its working hours at all service centres except for the JAFZA, Hatta, and Khorfakkan sites, which will be operational everyday from 8am to 2pm. The remaining centres are now open from 8am to 3pm and from 9pm until midnight, Saturday to Thursday.
Tasjeel, a joint venture of ENOC and Road Transport Authority (RTA), has extended the working hours at its Warsan site from 7 am to 12 am. This follows the successful implementation of extended working hours at its Al Qusais branch.
The revised working hours are part of Tasjeel’s strategy to implement more customer-friendly services to motorists, who now have the convenience of meeting all their vehicle testing and registration service needs swiftly and at a time convenient for them.
Ayas Bin Hendi, General Manager of Tasjeel, said: “The Warsan branch is one of our highest traffic sites due to its capabilities of servicing light to heavy vehicles including buses and trucks. It is also the preferred location for fleet management companies as well as auto retailers. The extended working hours will significantly add to the convenience of our customers. We are currently evaluating the possibility of extending the working hours at other Tasjeel sites too.”
